This individual was found at Coihuin, Los Lagos region. This species has 17 desmen.<\/p>\n

<\/a>Desmoscolex<\/em> sp.2.<\/strong><\/p>\n

\"\"<\/a><\/p>\n

This individual was collected at Portofino, Atacama region. This species also has 17 desmen, but unlike Desmoscolex<\/em> sp.1, it has no somatic setae on desemen number 10, i.e. it is missing the ventral setae.<\/p>\n

<\/a>Desmoscolex<\/em> sp.3.<\/strong><\/p>\n

This individual was collected at CIMAR24 station Polygon 1B at a depth of 1917 m on the slope of the continental shelf, Los Lagos region. This species also has 17 desmen, but unlike the two species above the somatic setae on the majority of desmen are short and fine if visible. The setae on desmen 16 and 17 are robust as seems to be normal for the genera.<\/p>\n

This individual was collected at CIMAR24 station Polygon 2B at a depth of 1020 m on the slope of the continental shelf, Los Lagos region. This species has 33 desmen, more or less it is difficult to be accurate as some of the desmen are incomplete or appear to bifurcate.<\/p>\n

This individual was collected from a depth of 240m in the Seno Reloncav\u00ed, Los Lagos region.<\/p>\n

This individual was collected at a depth of 124m in the Estuario Reloncav\u00ed, Los Lagos region.<\/p>\n

This individual was collected at CIMAR24 station 77 at a depth of 212 m at the mouth of the Aysen Fjord, Aysen region. This female specimen is distinct from Quadricoma sp.1. It has fewer desmen and the head region is more robust with large amphids.<\/p>\n
