El tama\u00f1o promedio del rango de distribuci\u00f3n fue calculado para cada grado de latitud usando la metodolog\u00eda de Stevens. La correlaci\u00f3n de Pearson (0.737, p &lt; 0.001) y regresi\u00f3n \u2018ordinarly least squares\u2019 an\u00e1lisis (R<sup>2<\/sup> = 0.544, p &lt; 0.001) indica que esta relaci\u00f3n fue significativa. Adem\u00e1s, la riqueza de especies disminuy\u00f3 con el aumento en el tama\u00f1o promedio del rango de distribuci\u00f3n (Fig. 4).
