Return to the Family list

Enoploides brattstroemi

Enoploides longicaudatus

Enoplodes paralabiatus

Enoploides reductus

Enoplolaimus connexus

Enoplolaimus sp.1.

This individual was collected at CIMAR station 21 at a depth of 163 m  in the channel between the islands of Chaulinec and Chulin in the Chiloe inland sea, Los Lagos region. This female specimen does not have prominent mandibles. The cephalic setae arise at the posterior edge of the cephalic capsule but they are not as long as those of E. connexus.

Mesocanthion infantil (Ditlevsen 1930)

This individual was collected at CIMAR24 station 77 at a depth of 212 m at the mouth of the Aysen Fjord, Aysen region. This specimen is female and matches the description given by Wieser (1953).

Mesocanthion ungulatum

Mesacanthoides scuptilis

Metenoploides alatus

Metenoploides capitulum

Oxyonchus dentatus

Oxyonchus sp.1.

This individual was collected at CIMAR24 station 77 at a depth of 212 m at the mouth of the Aysen Fjord, Aysen region. This individual is a juvenile so a definitive identification is difficult. The length of the tail and the presence of many setae on the tail mean that it does not conform with the description of O. dentatus.

Parasaveljevia cirrifera

Parasaveljevia lupata (Wieser 1953)

This individual was collected at CIMAR station 21 at a depth of 163 m  in the channel between the islands of Chaulinec and Chulin in the Chiloe inland sea, Los Lagos region. This female specimen matches Wieser’s description. I would add to his description that the oesophagus is at least a third of the body length.

Parenoplus serratus

Saveljevia hastata

Trileptium subterraneum
