Gerlachius sp.1.

This individual was collected at CIMAR24 station Polygon 2B at a depth of 1020 m on the slppe of the continental shelf, Los Lagos region. This female specimen has very indistinct annulation and each annule appears to have a short somatic setae on the ventral and dorsal sides. The four cephalic setae are on peduncles and the large round amphids are relatively distinct. This is the first record of the family in Chilean waters.
